The ThunderCats Season 2 Volume 1 DVD box set was released in the UK on April 14 and this is what Warner Home Video in the UK did to celebrate. I can’t quite believe that our beloved ThunderCats logo was displayed on the Houses of Parliament and Battersea Power Station in London!

The ThunderCats The Movie team have just signed an online petition and we ask you to do the same. The ThunderCats music was composed by Bernard Hoffer and is absolutely fantastic as you all know. A ThunderCats fan named Sonia has managed to get her hands on the complete music cues for the first 65 episodes of the show via Bernie himself and she’s been trying for the last 7-8 years to get Warner Bros to release an official ThunderCats soundtrack.
A petition has been set up to make this happen, please sign it here… ThunderCats Soundtrack Petition
Many thanks to you all. ThunderCats, hooooooooo!

Tracey ‘Tre’ Armstrong, actress and dancer, talks to IESB.net about why she would make the perfect ThunderCat.
IESB: Would you ever want to take a role that didn’t involve dance?
Armstrong: I want to do action films. I would love to play Cheetara in ThunderCats. I would love that.
IESB: I was going to ask if you had a dream role but I don’t think I could get a much more perfect response than Cheetara in ThunderCats.
Armstrong: My friend and I were talking about ThunderCats a second ago and I’ve always loved the show. I’m a Leo – I was born in August – and I’m like a cat. I’m very leonine. That is the perfect character that embodies me. She appears only when she needs to appear and does what she has to do quickly and gets out.
For the rest of the interview, the non-ThunderCats part, please visit IESB.net.
Unfortunately for Tre the new ThunderCats movie is CGI-animated but if it wasn’t then I’m quite sure that she’d have been our Cheetara!
